Ever feel like you were hang-gliding in circles? Similar to the Cliffhanger ride you may find at a fair or carnival -- only slightly smaller as this ride has two passengers in each of dozen rows -- not three -- Delta Kite Flyers is a unique attraction in that riders lie down prone on their bellies, locked in, and then swoop around in circles. Not too fast. Not too slow. There is a weight limit of 275 pounds for each row so bigger adults may be asked not to ride together.
What's with the name? No, it has nothing to do with flying Delta Airlines. Delta Kite Flyers was the name of the hang-gliders who starred in the park's original water ski show -- and continue to do so today.
